The UNC Blood Products Laboratory introduced the first gamma globulin subcutaneous preparation

This evening, the formal introduction of the first gamma globulin subcutaneous preparation produced in Argentina took place. The National Administration of Medicine and Medical Technology (Anmat) has recently given authorization to the UNC Blood Products Laboratory to produce and distribute this medical product which was,so far, imported. Apart from this institutional act, the scientific sessions called :“ First Subcutaneous Gamma globulin Regional Preparation for immunological deficiencies treatment” were carried out with the objective of granting value to the regional impact that the production of this medicine shall provide.On the one hand,this regional production will guarantee access and availability of the product to more people, and,on the other hand, it will impact on the Health System as this will bring about cost reduction.
