Initiative of the government of Córdoba Province

The initiative is intended for those responsible for international cooperation and study abroad centers, as well as language center directors and department chairs. Selected representatives from educational organizations will visit universities as well as language schools in Córdoba to learn about the Spanish for foreigners’ programs offered in the Province. Participants will meet with those in charge of the programs and gather information about exchange opportunities with particular attention to those for the study of the language and culture of Argentina and Latin America. This educational initiative will take place from August 6th to 16th, 2018, as detailed:

● Initiative Language Schools Sub-Group: August 7-9

● Initiative Universities Sub-Group: August 14 -16

The activities will be conducted in Spanish and preference will be given to those candidates with the ability to communicate in Spanish at an upper-intermediate/advanced level. It is also a requirement that participants have the authority to make decisions on behalf of their institutions. The deadline to submit applications is March 2nd, 2018. To apply go to:

Eight applications (four from language schools, and four from universities) will be selected.

The organizing entities (ProCórdoba, ACT, and GTIcba) will cover the following expenses: round-trip travel USA-Córdoba, hotel accommodations in Córdoba, and all lunch and dinner expenses while in Córdoba. Before final plans are secured, participants will be required to present official documentation of support from their institutions.
