Initiative of the Government of Córdoba Province

The initiative is intended for those responsible for international cooperation and study abroad centers, as well as language center directors and department chairs. Selected representatives from educational organizations will visit universities as well as language schools in Córdoba to learn about the Spanish for foreigners’ programs offered in the Province. Participants will meet with those in charge of the programs and gather information about exchange opportunities with particular attention to those for the study of the language and culture of Argentina and Latin America.

This educational initiative will take place during the month of August 2017 (exact dates TBD). The activities will be conducted in Spanish and preference will be given to those with the ability to communicate in Spanish. It is also a requirement that participants have the authority to make decisions on behalf of their institutions.

We will select eight applications (four from language schools, and four from universities). GTIcba will contact successful applicants by mid-March, 2017.

The organizing entities (ProCórdoba, ACT, and GTIcba) will cover the following expenses: round-trip travel USA-Córdoba, hotel accommodations in Córdoba, and all lunch and dinner expenses while in Córdoba. Before final plans are secured, participants will be required to present official documentation of support from their institutions.
